Scholar Orientation is required for all newly arrived J-1 scholars at the University of Pittsburgh.  During this orientation you will complete the check-in process and learn about maintaining your immigration status.  You will also learn about various resources within the University of Pittsburgh as well as the surrounding community that may be helpful to you.

New J-1 scholars should attend Scholar Orientation within two weeks of arrival in Pittsburgh.

Scholar Orientation occurs each Friday from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm in the Office of International Services conference room, 700 William Pitt Union.
